Lettings Negotiator

Company Overview

We’re working with a well-respected independent estate and lettings agency based in Trowbridge, known for their personal approach and commitment to exceptional customer service. They take pride in building long-term relationships with landlords, tenants, and the local community, and are now looking for a Lettings Administrator to join their friendly team on a maternity cover contract.

Role Overview

This is a key support position within the lettings department, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. The successful candidate will be organised, personable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll play an integral part in keeping everything compliant and on track across the portfolio.

Key Duties
  • Provide full administrative support to the lettings team
  • Maintain property files, databases, and internal systems
  • Arrange and track safety certificates (gas, electrical, EPC) to ensure compliance
  • Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to coordinate maintenance and repairs
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Schedule quarterly property visits and issue completed reports
  • Ensure all lettings administration meets current legislation and company standards
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous administration experience (property background desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
Package
  • Salary: £25,000 (or pro rata for part-time hours)
  • Full-time or reduced hours considered
