We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Health and Social Care who is passionate about teaching and has a proven track record of delivering outstanding educational outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Health & Social Care to students aged 16-19.
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them achieve their highest potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching practices.
Contribute to the pastoral care of students, ensuring a supportive environment that promotes their well-being and academic success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Health & Social Care or a related field.
Demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning at the sixth form level.
Strong understanding of the latest educational practices, methodologies, and assessment tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating students.
Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching.
