• Salary Range: £37,057 to £54,604 (inclusive of London Weighting), dependent on experience, pro rata

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Sociology to students aged 16-19.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them achieve their highest potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching practices.
• Contribute to the pastoral care of students, ensuring a supportive environment that promotes their well-being and academic success.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Sociology or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning at the sixth form level.
• Strong understanding of the latest educational practices, methodologies, and assessment tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating students.
