Our client is a successful business based in Congleton, and they are seeking an experienced Part-time Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and relaxed business. This role will be working with the Accounts Manager and will be dealing with transactional tasks such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control. This role is flexible in terms of the hours worked, ideally over three or four days, with one stipulation being that a Wednesday needs to be worked.
Job Description for the Part-time Accounts Assistant role: - Processing invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Matching up the sales ledger with the automated system
- Credit control of outstanding monies
- Supporting customers and suppliers with their queries
- Bank reconciliations
For the Part-time Accounts Assistant role, it would be good to see candidates with: - Proven accounts experience in Purchase ledger, Credit control and sales ledger
- Experience of working in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills
- Good IT skills
Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week, Wednesday is a required day of work
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Pro Rata
