Kenneth Brian are delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Sutton who are seeking an experienced Payroll Controller to join their finance team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for flexibility and work-life balance, while taking ownership of a busy, end-to-end payroll function.

You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll for the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery to employees.

Key duties include:

• Managing the end-to-end payroll process for monthly and weekly employees
• Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, pensions, and statutory deductions
• Managing starters, leavers, and changes to employee records
• Producing payroll reports and supporting audits where required
• Liaising with HR and Finance to ensure seamless communication and data accuracy
• Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and best practice

We’re looking for someone with strong payroll experience, great attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven experience in an end-to-end payroll role
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation
• Experience with Sage
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach

• £50,000 per annum (pro rata)
