Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to manage the end-to-end order and inventory processes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in supply chain operations, this role is for you.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the full order lifecycle from entry to delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain company inventory, developing strategies to reduce working capital and improve service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and prices.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure accurate order status updates and on-time deliveries.
  • Identify and implement improvements in logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Track goods from origin to warehouse, using data analysis to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with current standards, laws, and internal policies.
  • Drive change management during process or system upgrades.
  • Mentor and supervise team members, helping to build capability within the department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in supply chain or procurement roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills (SQL knowledge a bonus).
  • Proven leadership qualities with a collaborative, coaching mindset.
  • Quick learner with the ability to develop product and seasonal insights.

Reed £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, inc benefits Swindon
