Description
To provide administrative support for the oversight of all Asta managed syndicates, to include the production and distribution of Claims MI, liaison with syndicates on data required from them, coordinating all DCA audit activity, and supporting the onboarding and approval of new DCA firms.

Your New Role

  • Facilitate all market coordinated DCA audits in DAM and solo audits: This involves organising and overseeing audits of Delegated Claims Administrators (DCAs) both in the Delegated Authority Management (DAM) system and individually, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.
  • Run Weekly Syndicate Performance Metrics and engage syndicates where required: This task includes generating weekly performance reports for syndicates and interacting with them to address any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Run the Monthly & Quarterly performance data reports for syndicates: This involves compiling and analysing performance data on a monthly and quarterly basis to provide insights and track progress over time.
  • Manage the creation and storage of Claims Handling Licences for all syndicate claims staff: This task includes issuing and maintaining records of licenses for claims handling, ensuring that all syndicate claims staff are properly authorised.
  • Registration of new DCA relationships with Lloyd's: This involves registering new relationships with Delegated Claims Administrators with Lloyd's, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Recording and ensuring syndicate completion of all large claims movement reports (FRCN): This task includes tracking and verifying that syndicates complete reports on significant claims movements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Arrange ECF and CRS access for all new syndicate claims staff: This involves setting up access to the Electronic Claims File (ECF) and Claims Reporting System (CRS) for new claims staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools to perform their duties.
  • Support the roll out, collection and analysis of DCA performance metrics: Work with onboarding new DCA firms to the AstaPoint solution and work with them to ensure regular (monthly) metrics are provided, and support the Asta team in analysing performance and engaging the DCA firms where performance issues are identified.

Key technical skills, knowledge and professional qualifications
  • Basic understanding of insurance or claims processes: No prior work experience is required, but any exposure to insurance or claims handling through internships or part-time jobs would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn about claims handling matters: While in-depth technical claims experience is not necessary, a keen interest in understanding the basics of claims processes is advantageous.
  • Commitment to professional development: While Cert CII qualification is not required, a willingness to pursue professional studies in insurance (such as CII) is encouraged.
  • Familiarity with Lloyd's and/or London Market claims processes: Basic knowledge of these processes is helpful, but not essential. Training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel, are required.
