Responsibilities - Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion for a broad portfolio of clients.
- Act as the main point of contact during audit assignments, building strong client relationships.
- Identify key risk areas and ensure audits are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Supervise and support junior team members, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
- Coordinate with managers and partners to finalise audit files and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of each client's business and offer tailored advice.
- Ensure all assignments are carried out to a high professional standard in line with the firm’s quality control procedures.
Requirements - Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an audit role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to assess risk and implement effective audit procedures.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
