Responsibilities
  • Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion for a broad portfolio of clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact during audit assignments, building strong client relationships.
  • Identify key risk areas and ensure audits are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Supervise and support junior team members, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate with managers and partners to finalise audit files and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of each client's business and offer tailored advice.
  • Ensure all assignments are carried out to a high professional standard in line with the firm’s quality control procedures.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in an audit role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk and implement effective audit procedures.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a commitment to professional development.
