Job Title: Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Salary: Self-Employed – Uncapped Earnings (OTE £80,000 – £100,000+)

Swarm Recruitment is working with a well-established and fast-growing mortgage brokerage with over 17 years in the market. The business has recently secured significant private investment, creating an exciting time to join as they accelerate expansion.

Our client supports a network of over 50 advisers and a large, dedicated admin team, with a culture that’s supportive, professional, and geared toward helping advisers maximise their earnings while maintaining a great work-life balance.

Due to continued growth and heavy investment in lead generation, they are now looking for experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisers to join their self-employed team. This is a fantastic opportunity for advisers who want the flexibility of self-employment, but with the backing of a firm that provides consistent leads, admin support, and strong earning potential.

Salary & Benefits:

• Self-employed role – unlimited earnings potential
• Realistic OTE £80,000 – £100,000+
• Initial financial support available – Over 4 or 5 month (interest-free repayment over 24 months)
• High volume of leads provided daily (3–5 leads per day on average)
• Admin support team handles all case management post-submission

Working Hours:

• Flexible – manage your own diary
• Leads typically distributed Mon–Thurs evenings, with flexibility on when you choose to be available

Desired Experience:

• Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
• Experience advising on mortgages and protection
• Comfortable working self-employed and motivated by uncapped earnings
• Strong communicator with excellent client relationship skills
• Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide expert mortgage and protection advice to clients via phone/video (and face-to-face if preferred)
• Handle a wide range of client cases including purchase, remortgage, and product transfers
• Maximise protection opportunities alongside mortgage business (target 50%+ conversion)
• Manage leads provided via central CRM and build a long-term client bank
• Liaise with lenders, insurers, and clients to ensure smooth case progression (supported by admin team)
• Keep up to date with mortgage products, regulations, and market trends
