T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction, with a focus on the
Surveying and Design for Construction and the Built Environment occupational specialism. The ideal candidate will have practical industry experience and a strong understanding of construction design, surveying, and project planning processes.
As a Construction T Level Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop learners’ knowledge, skills, and behaviours in line with the T Level framework. You will provide high-quality teaching, support, and assessment across key areas of the built environment, ensuring learners are well-prepared for industry placements and future careers.Responsibilities You will be responsible for:
- Planning effectively and delivering high quality teaching, learning, assessment and support, leading to excellent attendance, retention and achievement.
- To deliver formal scheduled teaching duties, tutorials (as appropriate) and student assessment.
- To record, share and regularly monitor student progress using College information systems.
- To prepare learning plans schemes of work, keep relevant records and undertake all administration relevant to teaching duties.
- To attend parents’ evenings, marketing and promotional events.
Requirements You will need:
- Level 5 or equivalent Teaching Qualification such as Certificate in Education or PGCE or willingness to work towards this.
- High level of specialist knowledge of the subject area
- At least 2 years’ experience in teaching the subject area to full-time or part-time students (Desirable).
- Degree in relevant subject (Desirable)
