Compensation
Management (fixed contract): 10–12 hrs/week Expected OTE of £19,500 (£5,200–£6,240 annual salary + commission)
Teaching (freelance/self-employed): £40/hr (approx 9–12 hours/week) approx. £18,700–£25,000/yr potential
Total OTE: £38,000–£44,500, depending on teaching hours delivered & additional opportunities as the timetable expands.
Important note: £19,500 is the OTE for the management component. Teaching income (£18,700–£25,000) is freelance/self-employed & not guaranteed, though you’ll be committing to at least 9 hours/week (with scope to increase to 12).
About Peachi Pilates
We’re launching Bristol’s number one reformer studio - a place of energy, togetherness, & health. This is the first location in what will become a multi-studio Pilates brand, with plans to open more studios over the next few years.
As an impactful member of the team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the brand’s growth. There may be opportunities for equity participation or profit-sharing in the future, subject to business performance & mutual agreement.

The Role
Management Responsibilities (approx 10–12 hours/week)
- Oversee daily studio operations & ensure an exceptional member experience
- Develop & manage the class timetable (26+ classes initially, expanding over time)
- Lead recruitment, training, & management of freelance instructors (initially 3–5)
- Design & implement program offerings & class structures
- Manage member onboarding & deliver regular 1:1 check-ins
- Maintain equipment & uphold studio standards
- Build & nurture a strong, connected community
- Report on studio performance & support operational systems for future sites
- Drive first-year goals: create a high-performing team, establish Bristol’s best Pilates reputation, & build scalable systems
Sales & Relationship Responsibilities (embedded within management time)
- Lead taster sessions & confidently communicate the benefits of reformer Pilates to prospective members
- Convert leads into active memberships through effective follow-up & strong personal connection
- Develop & manage local marketing, events, & partnerships to drive membership growth
- Implement & maintain lead tracking & conversion systems
- Support & motivate the instructor team to promote memberships & retention
- Work closely with the owner on growth strategy, retention goals, & sales performance targets
Teaching Responsibilities (9–12 hours/week, freelance at £40/hour)
- Deliver high-quality reformer Pilates classes on the timetable
- Set the standard for excellence & lead by example
- Provide ongoing mentorship & feedback to instructors
- Lead pre-opening training & team practice sessions
- Embody our teaching values of care, quality, & personal attention
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor
- Confident, engaging teaching style with strong presence & authority
- Experience in leadership or mentoring instructors
- Proven ability to drive sales, conversions, & member retention
- Strong communication & relationship-building skills
- Passionate about Pilates, wellness, & community
- Public liability insurance
- DBS check (can be arranged)
- First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
Preferred
- Level 3 Mat Pilates (Comprehensive Mat)
- Studio management or leadership experience
- Experience with booking systems (Mindbody, Glofox, or similar)
- Entrepreneurial mindset
