Payroll/Bookkeeper Full or Part time

We are working with an established accountancy practise in Dartford who are looking to recruit and Payroll/ Bookkeeper professional.


The role is working with a small accountancy practise and looking for a keen individual with payroll/ Bookkeeping experience .

Our client will looking at 5 hours a day payroll coordinator or full time payroll and bookkeeping.


The role will be essentially to ensure clients employees are paid correctly and on time, each client has a different need and size payroll needs. You must be able to adapt to each client and build good business relationships. Also dealing with HMRC submissions are completed accurately and pension contributions are managed smoothly.


Role Involves:

  • Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
  • Handling payroll queries and processing amendments.
  • Maintaining up to date payroll records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Administering auto-enrolment and other pension schemes.
  • Responding to pension – related queries and providing information to employees.
  • Ensuring full compliance with pension regulated and legislation.
  • Managing all year end submissions and compliance obligations.
  • Attending training and keeping up to date with payroll best practises.


Experience needed.

  • Previous experience of payroll.
  • Considerable experience with payroll and pensions processing experience with a practise.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practise.
  • Clear professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a small team.


Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm or Part time 5 hours a day all office based.

Salary depends on experience.
