Surround Support Limited is a person-centred care provider in North Somerset.

We empower adults to live independent, fulfilling lives in their own homes and communities.

We are now recruiting Support Workers to join our dedicated team providing 24/7 domiciliary care.

About the Role

This is a rewarding hands-on role where you’ll provide one-to-one support, always putting the individual at the heart of what you do.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe, compassionate and dignified personal care.
• Supporting daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, cooking, cleaning and laundry.
• Encouraging independence and teaching life skills that promote self-reliance.
• Supporting with outings, appointments and community activities.
• Recording accurate daily notes, handovers and incident reports.
• Respecting service users’ choices and promoting their rights.
• Safeguarding individuals and reporting any concerns immediately.
• Supporting individuals with epilepsy and other health needs (training provided).
• Participating in care planning and reviews.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential for most roles).
• Due to vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25 or over to drive for work purposes.

Applicants under 25 are still encouraged to apply for non-driving roles or placements within walking distance.

• Right to work in the UK.
• Compassionate, reliable and proactive approach to supporting others.
• Ability to work flexibly across days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins as part of a rota.
