File Handler Assistant

We're looking for a proactive Pre-Litigation File Handling Assistant to help streamline processes and ensure the smooth management of pre-litigation motor claims. The Pre-litigation File Handling Assistant will undertake a variety of tasks to support the pre-lit motor claims handling teams. 


Key Accountabilities
  • To pro-actively assist the pre-lit teams with a variety of tasks including:
    • Monitoring inboxes
    • Completing new claim actions 
    • Assisting in reviewing of validate reports
    • Reviewing and updating MI 
    • Monitor OIC and MOJ Portal claims
    • Undertaking MIAFTR & HPI checks 
    • Undertaking appropriate additional tasks provided by the Team Leader/DBUD
  • Maintain accurate data on relevant case management system
  • Comply with set client SLA’s
  • To actively manage a caseload of low value cases, liaising with clients, insurers and other relevant parties to ensure these cases are handled by the relevant parties.
  • Ensure quality service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard 

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  • 12 months relevant admin / claims support experience 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good communication & telephone skills
  • Able to use Excel
  • Excellent client care and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage volume workload via task management
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
