Part Time Credit Controller

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Chesterfield as they look to recruit a Part Time Credit Controller on a permanent basis.

The role is 21 hours a week and can be split over 3 or 4 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers via phone, email, and letter to collect outstanding payments
  • Monitor aged debt reports and take proactive steps to recover overdue amounts
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to resolve payment queries
  • Accurately post and allocate receipts within the finance system
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date records of all credit control activity
  • Support continuous improvement of credit control processes
  • Adhere to financial regulations and internal policies
  • Assist the wider finance team with administrative and ad hoc tasks

Person Specification:

  • Experience in credit control or debt recovery
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
