Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Chesterfield as they look to recruit a Part Time Credit Controller on a permanent basis.
The role is 21 hours a week and can be split over 3 or 4 days.
Responsibilities:
Contact customers via phone, email, and letter to collect outstanding payments
Monitor aged debt reports and take proactive steps to recover overdue amounts
Work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to resolve payment queries
Accurately post and allocate receipts within the finance system
Maintain clear, up-to-date records of all credit control activity
Support continuous improvement of credit control processes
Adhere to financial regulations and internal policies
Assist the wider finance team with administrative and ad hoc tasks
Person Specification:
Experience in credit control or debt recovery
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
