?Part-Time KS1 Teacher Required for ‘Good’ Ofsted-Rated Primary School in Reading

About the role:

At Engage Education, we’re currently recruiting for a part-time KS1 teacher to join a well-regarded, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ primary school in Reading. This exciting role is to start ASAP and involves teaching 3 afternoons per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays), with each session lasting 4 hours.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys focused subject teaching and thrives in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The school is known for its strong community ethos and commitment to staff development.

Teaching Schedule:

• Mondays – PE
• Wednesdays – Humanities
• Thursdays – PSHE

You will be working with Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils across these curriculum areas, delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the school’s high expectations.

The ideal applicant will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS
• Confident and experienced in teaching KS1 pupils
• Skilled in delivering engaging lessons across PE, Humanities, and PSHE
• Knowledgeable in the KS1 National Curriculum
• Passionate about child development and classroom innovation
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing high-quality education
