Our client is recruiting a Befriending Facilitator to join a key project aimed at tackling isolation for older adults living in care home settings. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver befriending visits to older adults in the community and care homes
• Match new volunteers with befriending partners
• Organize and facilitate 1:1 and group activities for older adults
• Build and maintain relationships with older adults, volunteers, and community partners
• Support the ongoing development and promotion of the befriending program

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Willingness to divide time between office and community visits
• DBS check and references required
