Business Support Administrator - 20/25 hours

I am working with a forward-thinking accountancy practice that is dedicated to providing exceptional client service and professional expertise. As the firm continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a proactive and organised Business Support Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.


This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys improving processes, thrives in a people-facing environment, and has a solid understanding of compliance and technology within professional services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring all documentation (engagement letters, AML/KYC checks, ID verification, etc.) is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain compliance with AML, KYC, GDPR and other relevant regulations
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather and verify information
  • Review and streamline internal processes to enhance efficiency and client experience
  • Manage and maintain internal systems, particularly CCH (practice management software)
  • Support with reporting, data accuracy, and system updates
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate or digitise workflows
  • Maintain accurate client records and databases
  • Support with document management, filing, and archiving (both digital and physical)
  • Assist with ad hoc duties across the business support and wider practice teams


Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a professional services environment, ideally within accountancy, legal, or financial services
  • Proficient IT skills and confidence with new systems (experience with CCH or similar software would be advantageous)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
