HR Administrator (Part-Time) – Belfast

Salary: £25,000–£27,000 per annum pro rata (actual salary £16,500–£18,000)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Benefits: Pension, healthcare, and occasional travel to UK and Dublin offices

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected, long-established organisation with offices across the UK. We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our Belfast team, working closely with and reporting to the HR Manager.

You don’t need previous HR experience to succeed in this role — what matters most is your strong administrative background, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for developing a career in Human Resources. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

This part-time position offers a varied and rewarding workload within a supportive and professional HR function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new starters
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for new employees
  • Set up and maintain employee records within the HR software
  • Complete and monitor right-to-work checks
  • Ensure all leaver documentation is processed and uploaded correctly
  • Coordinate employee enrolments with the private medical insurance provider
  • Act as a point of contact for pension-related queries, liaising with the provider as needed
  • Generate and compile HR reports as required
  • Escalate employee concerns or queries to the HR Manager when appropriate

Experience and Additional Information

  • Previous administrative experience within an office environment is essential
  • The role involves travel within Ireland and the UK, with occasional overnight stays required
