Your new role

As an Assistant Accountant, you'll be responsible for supporting a varied client portfolio including sole traders, partnerships, and a few smaller limited companies. Your day-to-day will involve handling PAYE, VAT, income tax, and tax planning, with most of your work focused on agricultural businesses. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a niche and rewarding sector.

What you'll need to succeed

• AAT qualification and a drive to advance your career
• Experience in accounting for small businesses, including tax and compliance
• Strong understanding of PAYE, VAT, and income tax
• A background in farming or solid knowledge of the agricultural industry is highly desirable
