Family Personal Assistant
Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and doesn’t believe a standard 9–5 is the only way to work? This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to join a vibrant private household team supporting a high-net-worth individual, their family, and wider staff.
As Family Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with two Executive Assistants and collaborate with other household team members. Your role will be hands-on and varied — no two days will ever be the same! You’ll help with all sorts of things, from supporting the family’s daily routines to keeping household plans running smoothly. It’s a role that suits someone energetic, flexible, and happy to jump in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum lifestyle support to the Principal, their family, and private staff.
- Act as the primary weekend point of contact, ensuring seamless logistical support and coordination.
- Assist with school runs, weekend hobbies, chaperoning, and occasional overnight/weeklong supervision of three teenage boys.
- Manage daily errands and driving duties, including shopping for groceries, gifts, and personal items.
- Housesitting and pet care when the family is travelling.
- Be the on-site point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and maintenance teams.
- Support the EAs with travel planning, event coordination, personal admin, and domestic logistics.
- Oversee restaurant bookings, activities, and social engagements (both in the UK and internationally).
- Maintain and curate wardrobes, ensuring clothing, shoes, and jewellery are organised and presentable, with suggestions for new purchases or styles.
- Assist with seasonal gifting and special occasion planning for family and friends.
What Makes This Role Different?
- Flexible working pattern: The core schedule runs Thursday to Monday, with evenings and weekends being essential. Your rota will flex based on the Principal’s diary and family commitments.
- In-person presence: You’ll be physically present and actively involved in day-to-day support.
- Travel opportunities: UK and international travel will be part of the role.
- Dynamic environment: Ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on change, and brings a positive, can-do attitude with absolute discretion.
About You:
You’re organised, proactive, and love helping others make life run smoothly. You enjoy variety in your day — from booking dinners and planning outings to lending a hand with family errands or activities. You’re friendly, down-to-earth, and comfortable working closely with a family in a busy, ever-changing environment. If you like being part of a supportive household where every day feels a little different, this could be the perfect role for you.
The working pattern and expectations around flexibility will be discussed openly during the interview process to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.

- Able to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Comfortable caring for pets.
- Available to work across seasonal holidays.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
