You must be a hands-on, detail-oriented
Payroll Specialist to take ownership of the
end-to-end payroll function and support the business with
timesheet and data analysis.
You’ll be the
go-to person for all payroll-related queries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth monthly operations across our UK business.
Key Responsibilities of Payroll Specialist - Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees (including starters, leavers, and changes).
- Maintain and analyse time and attendance data, ensuring accurate input and reporting.
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll, HMRC, and pension queries.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, PAYE, NI, and auto-enrolment pension schemes.
- Reconcile payroll reports and provide insights to finance and HR.
- Support with ad-hoc data analysis and continuous improvement of payroll processes.
Essential - Proven experience managing end-to-end UK payroll.
- Strong understanding of HMRC requirements, statutory payments, and pension administration.
- Confident analysing and interpreting timesheet and payroll data.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong Excel skills.
- A proactive team player who enjoys working independently and being the “go-to” person for the business.
