Faith Fostering is seeking experienced and passionate Supervising Social Workers to join our dedicated team supporting foster families across the North West and Midlands.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring foster parents are supported, trained, and equipped to provide safe, nurturing homes where children can thrive. You'll work directly with families and children, conduct assessments, lead reflective sessions, and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support foster parents, including induction and training
• Conduct Form F assessments and annual reviews
• Lead monthly reflective sessions and identify development needs
• Advocate for children and families during reviews and meetings
• Ensure health & safety, risk assessments, and safeguarding compliance
• Respond to referrals and support recruitment efforts
• Collaborate with the Registered Manager to improve care outcomes

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE registration
• 3+ years post-qualification experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Knowledge of social work theories and ethics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in digital documentation
