We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic team player to support our R&D Food & Beverage team where you role will be helping coordinate projects, manage samples, and keep our innovation kitchen running like clockwork.

What you’ll do 

Being a R&D Coordinator is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success – which means you will: 

• Manage and maintain the R&D development space, ensuring it remains clean, well-organised, safe, and fully equipped for effective product testing and demonstrations.
• Oversee kitchen and lab supplies, ensuring consumables and equipment are efficiently stocked to support ongoing development activities.
• Support the R&D Food & Beverage team with sample coordination, supplier requests, purchase orders, product demos, and research logistics.
• Coordinate and conduct benchmarking activities to assess competitor products, providing valuable insights to inform product design and quality improvements.
• Champion safety and compliance by ensuring users are appropriately trained, maintaining risk assessments, and escalating any health and safety concerns as needed..

Who you are

• You’re a team player who lives our values – passionate about progress, warm and supportive, and always ready to get stuck in to help the team deliver great results.
• You’re organised and proactive, with an eye for detail and the confidence to keep projects, samples, and admin tasks on track.
• You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office, creating simple, clear reports and staying on top of everyday coordination tasks.
• You care about doing things safely and to a high standard, with a basic understanding of HACCP, risk assessments, or health and safety – or a willingness to learn.
• You bring curiosity and hands-on energy, ideally with some experience in food, drink, or workshop settings, and you’re happy to travel occasionally to support the R&D team.
