Bright Selection are working with a luxury care provider to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support their growing team.

The position is on-site but offers flexibility for full or part-time hours, including school hours.

This is a hands-on position offering exposure across all areas of transactional finance. You'll play an important part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency and integrity across the company's financial operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices and managing payment runs
• Supporting payroll and maintaining up-to-date employee and payment records
• Completing bank reconciliation and resolving ledger queries
• Assisting with month-end reporting and management accounts preparation
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to maintain smooth financial processes
• Supporting the development of systems and procedures as the organisation grows

We're seeking a detail-focused, proactive Accounts Assistant who enjoys working within a small, friendly finance team. You'll be confident handling a varied workload and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Essential skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
• Working knowledge of Sage
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• AAT qualified or studying towards AAT
