Lecturer in Media – Content Creation

Hours: 0.5 FTE (18 hours per week)

Salary: Up to £18,252 per annum

Are you passionate about media and digital content creation? Do you have the skills to inspire the next generation of creatives? We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer in Media to join our team on a part-time basis.

About the Role

As a Lecturer in Media, you will deliver engaging and innovative teaching across a range of content creation modules. You’ll support learners in developing practical skills in video production, social media, podcasting, and digital storytelling, preparing them for careers in the fast-paced media industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in media and content creation.
  • Support students in developing technical and creative skills across various platforms.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to aid progression.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure alignment with industry trends.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in Media, Content Creation, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Industry experience in media production, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to student success and continuous improvement.
