Role: Support Worker

Location of role: Billinge, Wigan

Role Description:

We are excited to announce that we are looking for experienced support workers to join The Orchards in Billinge, Wigan. This facility offers specialized supported living services for adults with diverse needs, including physical and learning disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges.

Your role will be essential in providing effective support, as we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each individual, placing them at the centre of decision-making.

Experience & Skills of a support worker:

• You must be enthusiastic about providing outstanding care to our clients.
• Be willing to undertake training to achieve your level 3 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care which is fully funded by Nugent.
• It would be desirable if you had health care experience, preferably supporting individuals with complex needs ( physical and learning disabilities, autism, and mental health) but it's not essential.
• A good understanding of providing Person Centred Care

Hours of Work: Contracts of 19.5 hours part time and 39 hours full time
