Job Type: Part-Time (18 hours) with hybrid working and flexible hours
Salary: £31,000 to £34,000 FTE per annum DOE

Reed are proud to be partnering with a developing and innovating company in South Oxfordshire who are seeking a Payroll Advisor to join their Finance team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of UK payroll for our employees. The successful candidate will support payroll activities across all aspects of the employee life cycle and collaborate closely with the Finance and HR departments.

Day-to-day of the role:
Payroll Processing:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for payroll enquiries, providing guidance and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Prepare payroll runs, ensuring compliance with relevant terms, conditions, and deadlines.
  • Calculate and input payroll information accurately, handling variable payments and statutory payments.
  • Maintain integrity of payroll data in compliance with government legislation, pension scheme regulations, and company policies.

Pension Schemes:

  • Assist in the administration of employee pension schemes, including contributions calculation and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with auto enrolment regulations and support annual data production for pension scheme administrators.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit various reports related to pensions, year-end processing, and other financial obligations.
  • Produce and submit remittance reports to external stakeholders.
  • Employee Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits such as Cyclescheme, Childcare Vouchers, and Employee Benefits Platform.
  • Handle annual childcare assessments and approve monthly invoices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling payroll data.
  • Experience in pension schemes administration and employee benefits is highly desirable.
