HGV Mechanic

We're on the lookout for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician for our client in Dumfries. If you take pride in your work, enjoy problem-solving and want to be part of a supportive workshop environment - this could be the opportunity for you.

Salary: between £18.81 and £21.16 per hour, depending on experience

£2000 relocation support offered

Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

8am to 12pm Saturdays as required (paid at overtime rate, time and a half)

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, servicing and repairs on HGVs

Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults

Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and company standards

Completing all job cards and paperwork accurately

What We're Looking For:

Qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Experience working on HGVs / LGVs / commercial vehicles

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

HGV licence an advantage but not essential
