SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Arundel, West Sussex

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time / Term-time only

Pay: £80 - £95 a day

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Arundel.

As an SEN TA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
• Promote independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour
• Support with personal care and emotional regulation where required
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to monitor and celebrate progress

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or adults with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech & language needs)
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping every child succeed
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) desirable but not essential
