We are seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Specialist to join a special needs school in Wolverhampton, Birmingham. This part-time role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about supporting children with communication challenges to enhance their learning and social skills.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve students' communication abilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the students' educational goals.
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide training and guidance to school staff on how to better communicate with and support students with speech and language difficulties.

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience working with children, particularly in an educational or clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of speech disorders and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
