ULR Claim Handler CH2
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Claims Handler to join our team, managing a dynamic caseload of pre-litigated and low-value litigated motor claims on behalf of our corporate clients. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in ULR RTA claims handling and a keen understanding of the full claims lifecycle—from initial quantum assessment and liability investigation to settlement negotiation.
As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently progressing motor claims up to £25,000 and litigated claims up to £10,000, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. You’ll play a key role in identifying cases suitable for early litigation, supporting service delivery excellence, and maintaining high productivity standards. Collaboration is central to this role, as you’ll work closely with colleagues across the firm and act as a technical referral point for junior team members.

Key Accountabilities - To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims up to £25k, including high value/complex matters from inception to settlement.

- Identify cases for early litigation with high prospects success and low risk.
- To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity
- To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service
- To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance
- Interact and communicate with clients
- Mentoring, training and to be the technical referral point for other team members
Experience, Skills and Qualifications - ULR RTA handling experience of pre-litigated matters is essential, litigation knowledge would be desirable.
- Full Claim cycle experience, from initial quantum assessment, liability investigation and settlement negotiation.
- Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email

Desirable;
- Litigation claims handling
- Knowledge of Loss of Use/Loss of Standing Charge desirable

Qualified solicitor / CILEX with necessary practice rights (consideration will also be given to CILEX Lawyers)
