Assistant File Handler

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the Motor Litigation Team assisting a team of File Handlers dealing with delegated and non-delegated motor litigated cases. In this role you may also be required to assist the team in activities which enhance and develop Keoghs profile. 


Key Accountabilities

In accordance with the strategy set by a lead file handler, the assistant will progress each file from the receipt of papers from the Insurer to claims resolution dealing with aspects of quantum and liability to include drafting, filing and serving of court documents.

As well as assisting the team of file handlers, the assistant will also handle a small, low value, litigated caseload of their own.

The assistant file handler may also undertake additional tasks set by the lead file handler as a development opportunity in order to enhance their own skill set, experience and knowledge. 

Working Hours
35 hours per week

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.

Primary location for this role is Liverpool Office. 


Experience, Skills and Qualifications

•Motor MOJ / Personal Injury experience is essential 

•Good advocacy skills
