Marketing Manager

  • Annual Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
  • Location: Outskirts of Swindon with close links to A419
  • Job Type: Full-time - part time or condensed hours would be considered on 4 day per week basis

My client are a premium distributor with a turnover of £25 million and ambitious plans to reach £100 million in the next 8 years. They are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Marketing Manager to lead their marketing function and drive brand growth across all digital and traditional channels. This is a hands-on role that will shape their marketing strategy, manage campaigns end-to-end, and work closely with our Managing Director to bring bold ideas to life.

Day-to-day of the role:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business growth targets.
  • Present innovative ideas and campaigns directly to the Managing Director.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a Marketing Executive.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X).
  • Create and upload engaging video content.
  • Oversee SEO strategy and performance.
  • Update and maintain website content; web design capabilities are a plus.
  • Monitor and report on performance using Google Analytics.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute end-to-end B2B marketing campaigns.
  • Manage email marketing via Mailchimp.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Events & Partnerships:

  • Organise and manage our presence at trade shows and events
  • Coordinate with brand ambassadors and attend regular meetings with them.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally within B2B retail/food/consumer goods sectors
  • Strong digital marketing skills including SEO, social media, video content, and analytics.
  • Experience with Mailchimp or similar CRM platforms.
  • Creative, confident, and proactive personality – not afraid to take a punt and pitch bold ideas.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a reactive, fast-paced environment.
  • Web design or content management experience is a bonus.
