Sunday Chef (CDP)

Hours: Sundays, 9:00am – 7:00pm

Location: Holmbury St Mary, Surrey

£16.55 ph

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team on Sundays. This role is ideal for an experienced Chef de Partie who takes pride in producing high-quality food, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, and contributing to a positive kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard in line with menu specifications.
• Work across various kitchen sections as required, ensuring smooth service throughout the day.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards in accordance with current regulations.
• Assist with stock control, including rotation, labelling, and minimising waste.
• Support the wider kitchen team to ensure meals are delivered on time and to specification.
• Contribute to menu development and offer creative input when appropriate.
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of work areas at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a quality catering or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
