About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse with a genuine interest in health, wellbeing, and dentistry, particularly in the fields of aesthetics and orthodontics. You will work alongside highly experienced clinicians who will support you throughout your training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, clean, and sterilise instruments and equipment to a high standard
• Maintain a tidy, well-organised, and fully stocked surgery
• Mix and handle dental materials for various treatments
• Adhere to strict infection control and health & safety procedures
• Support the dental team with administrative and clinical tasks
• Attend training sessions and complete coursework towards your qualification

Skills & Requirements:

• Enrolled, or planning to enrol, on an approved dental nurse training course (proof required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and dedicated to high-quality patient care
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure

Working Schedule:

• Part-time, permanent position (20 hours per week, potential to increase to 30)
• Typical rota: Wednesday (morning/afternoon), Thursday, Friday, and alternate Saturdays
• Occasional additional hours on Monday afternoons and Tuesdays (when the orthodontist is present once or twice a month)
