About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic English Teacher to join thriving secondary schools in Basingstoke. The school is part of a network of Good and Outstanding Ofsted-rated schools, offering a supportive and forward-thinking environment for both staff and students.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching journey in a nurturing and high-achieving setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Support students in developing strong literacy and analytical skills.
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to aid student development.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities.
• Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated educators.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
