We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Group AI Talent Analyst.

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Analyst, AI Talent to support HSBC's workforce planning and career development in the context of artificial intelligence. This role will help the organisation adapt to the evolving impact of AI by supporting strategies around hiring, retention, and future workforce planning.

In this role, you will:

  • Talent Acquisition Support: Assist in shaping hiring strategies to attract and secure talent aligned with HSBC's AI-driven future workforce needs.
  • Retention & Career Development: Support the creation of programmes that promote employee retention and career growth in the context of evolving skills.
  • Workforce Planning: Contribute to forward-looking workforce planning by considering how AI will influence roles, skills, and future capabilities.
  • Employee Engagement: Coordinate initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and enablement, embedding AI into career development opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, Technology, and Learning teams to align talent strategies with AI advancements and organisational goals.


To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Talent Management Knowledge: A foundational understanding of talent acquisition, retention, and career development strategies.
  • AI Awareness: A developing understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their potential impact on workforce planning.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: The ability to support strategy development and contribute ideas that improve talent management outcomes.
  • Governance & Risk Awareness: Awareness of responsible AI practices, regulatory requirements, and ethical workforce considerations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and engage stakeholders.
