The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
