The company will be moving to Haddenham at some point next year and so you must be able to work initially in Sandy but be able to commute to the new offices next year.
What will you be doing? Read on.
You will be working closely with the business owner to achieve his vision for the future of the business
All aspects of accounts including:
Invoicing
Credit control
Purchase and sales ledger using Sage 50
Supplier statement and bank reconciliations
Preparing monthly management accounts
Monitoring the job costs of specific larger jobs. This is an area, which needs development and where you could have a significant impact.
Developing and monitoring a long range cashflow. This will be important as although the business has always had good cash reserves, they are building a new factory and so monitoring cash is essential.
Quarterly VAT Returns
Year end adjustments and liaising with the outside accountant
What will you need to be successful in your application:
Strong all round accounting skills
Good Excel skills and knowledge of Sage 50
Enthusiasm for your job
A passion to add value to the companies you work for
You will have worked for owner managers before and understand their mentality
Strong cashflow and job costing knowledge
Benefits include:

A bonus of up to £5k depending on the success of the business but this has been paid for the last 4 years.
This is an office based job but you will be able to flex your hours.
