We are currently recruiting a Part Time Sales Administrator to work for a lovely company near Hedge End. This role requires someone with excellent customer service skills and a good level of Excel. Previous sales order experience would be a definite advantage. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer service and on-time deliveries. You will need to be a self-starter who is comfortable working to tight deadlines as this is a multi-faceted role. This is part time working on Monday & Thursday. You will also be required to provide occasional holiday cover so must have some flexibility with regards to hours.
The Role
Dealing with Customer orders and queries over phone and email.
Preparing, tracking and following up customer quotes
Entering orders onto Sage Line 50, confirming delivery dates and arranging transport
Other office duties include preparing proforma invoices and purchasing consumable items
Assisting with data analysis
Ad hoc duties as required to meet the demands of the business, for example on occasion you may be required to help with the packing of goods.
The Ideal Candidate
Strong customer services / sales admin experience ideally within manufacturing.
Able to understand part numbers and BoMs
Well organised, pro-active and able to work on your own initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Good verbal and written communication skills
Flexible nature to deal with changing needs of the business and willing to be ‘hands on’ if required
Remains calm under pressure
Knowledge of Sage Line 50 would also be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
