Business Development Manager - Part-Time

Business Development Manager – Part-Time

About Our Client

They are representing an exceptionally fast-growing start-up in the alcoholic drinks segment, focused on building a whole new category of drink in the UK market.

Since launch 18 months ago, their client has:

  • Sold over 500k pints across the on-trade, off-trade and DTC
  • Launched in 5 cities – London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Brighton, Norwich
  • Activated at 11 of the UK’s best festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude and Wilderness
  • Partnered with Costco to deliver a Product Roadshow showcasing their product across half their stores nationwide
  • Won the award for Best New Drinks Start Up UK 2024 at the In-Drinks trade show
  • Beat their annual revenue targets in just 4 months this year
  • Raised over £1,000,000 in capital to fuel their growth

So, what’s this brand all about then

Let’s take a step back. In the UK, around half of consumers drink beer and cider and are happy with their choice. However, for the remaining half, around 70% of them say they don’t have a drink of choice. They end up drinking wine, G&T, and cocktails. All great options but compared to beer and cider, these options are high ABV, short and expensive.

But there is a solution! Introducing their client – based on the national drink of Finland, it is the UKs first Finnish long drink, and the only brand razor focused on being a pint-sized beer alternative.
