Compliance Executive
Purpose of the job:
This role exists to ensure that Foster Denovo meets its regulatory requirements and to help to deliver Foster Denovo’s compliance function, by providing a high quality delivery of service.
Job summary:
- The role holder will work within the Compliance Team and report to the Director of Compliance, communicating with team members, Partners and (ex) clients.
- The role will help deliver a compliant service in line with the expectations from the FCA, FOS and FD Leadership Team.
Main responsibilities:
- Investigate complaints including forming a decision and where required calculating the redress required and communicating the results to clients.
- Liaise with Financial Ombudsman Service as and when required.
- Investigate and determine where appropriate redress on Internal and External incidents.
- Record and maintain records using the Compliance Data Base
- Liaise with Foster Denovo’s PI Insurers
- Provide PI Bordeaux reporting
- Lead the preparation and completion of annual PI renewal submission
- Collate and submit all Retail Mediation Activities (RMA) and FCA returns (non financial).
- Participate in appropriate company and departmental training, competence and development initiatives.
- Investigate and report Breaches.
- Deputise the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (one of three Deputies)
- Present data relating to responsibilities in the form of a quarterly report.
- Continuously meet, the regulator’s Fit & Proper requirements.
