Location: Remote / Eastern Region (occasional travel)

Contract: Part-time, self-employed or fixed-term

Hours: 8 - 10 hours per week (flexible)

Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

This regional charity supports talented young athletes across the East of England. They help them overcome the financial and logistical challenges of competing at the highest level by providing funding, recognition, and encouragement.

Working alongside local partners and dedicated volunteers, we are proud to help the next generation of British sporting heroes achieve their potential, when it matters most.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and well-organised Administration Coordinator to provide essential administrative and communications support across operations.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our charity running smoothly, managing databases, supporting fundraising events, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication throughout the organisation

This role offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a real difference in young athletes’ lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative systems, records, and databases (supporters, sponsors, athletes).
  • Handle general correspondence, enquiries, and digital filing.
  • Support financial administration and expense tracking (in liaison with the Treasurer).
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of fundraising and awards events.
  • Maintain accurate athlete and donor data in line with GDPR and national reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with trustees, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure efficient communication.
  • Support newsletters, social media, and website updates with content and event summaries.
  • Coordinate Board meetings - scheduling, agendas, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.

About You

We’re seeking someone with strong organisational and communication skills, who thrives in a flexible, multi-tasking environment.

Essential:

  • Excellent administration and coordination skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Confident in using Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace and databases.
  • Clear written and verbal communicator.
  • Personable and professional when liaising with partners and volunteers.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the charity, sport, or youth development sectors.
  • Understanding of event coordination and basic financial processes.
  • Familiarity with charity governance or fundraising systems.
