Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene for people we support and the main offices, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with the people we support and team members. Experience of working within mental health will be an advantage

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
  • Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments

Experience

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
  • A valid driving licence is needed for travel between sites
  • Experience of working within care/mental health sector
