Part Time Personal Assistant

The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting our client with their requirement for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant (PA) to the CEO. This is a part-time, hybrid role, suited to someone living in or near Bristol, due to in-person meetings.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the CEO’s day-to-day commitments, providing proactive executive support and helping maintain strong internal operations. You will also support the wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT), manage key internal processes, and help ensure information flows efficiently across the organisation.

This role is 20 hours per week, typically worked across weekday mornings (Monday–Friday), with some flexibility. Fewer hours over more days is preferred rather than two full working days.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and prioritising the CEO’s inbox and diary
  • Preparing and sending weekly schedule updates
  • Scheduling appraisal and midway review meetings
  • Supporting with credit card administration, including annotating statements and filing receipts
  • Scheduling monthly online Governance and SLT meetings, plus one annual in-person meeting (London)
  • Maintaining SLT and Governance Trello boards
  • Preparing agendas, circulating papers, taking minutes and tracking actions
  • Organising weekly online team catch-up meetings
  • Maintaining and updating the lead rota. Maintaining and updating key internal records such as organisation chart, training request form and spreadsheet, appraisal framework, regular pulse survey circulation
  • Arranging travel, accommodation and bookings (hotels, meeting rooms, couriers)
  • Processing ad-hoc payments and expenses
  • Updating and maintaining the CEO’s contact lists and the internal database
  • Managing the storage unit inventory and coordinating couriers as required


The Person:

For this opportunity, it is essential you have proven experience providing high-level administrative support in a PA or similar executive support role.

Our client is looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident working independently in a remote-first environment.

  • Strong experience in an Executive Assistant or PA role
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Professional discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve
  • Adaptable, flexible and comfortable in a virtual-first team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a calm, professional approach


The Location:

Bristol with hybrid working


The Hours:

20 hours per week, typically mornings Monday–Friday. Flexibility is offered, with a preference for shorter hours over more days.


The Salary:

£35,000 pro rata (£17.94 per hour)
