We are currently recruiting a Part Time Office Administrator to join a lovely, supportive company based near Hedge End. This role requires someone with excellent customer service skills and confident Excel ability. Experience with order processing or working in a busy office environment would be an advantage. You’ll play an important part in ensuring smooth communication with customers and on-time deliveries. We’re looking for a self-starter who enjoys a varied workload and is comfortable working to deadlines. This part-time position is worked on Monday and Wednesday, with occasional holiday cover required, so some flexibility is essential.

The Part Time Administrator Role

• Managing customer enquiries and orders via phone and email

• Preparing, tracking and following up on quotations

• Entering information onto Sage Line 50, confirming delivery dates and arranging transport

• General office duties including preparing proforma invoices and ordering consumables

• Assisting with data analysis and reporting

• Supporting the business with ad hoc tasks as needed – including helping with packing goods on occasion

The Ideal Candidate for the Office Administrator role

• Strong customer service and administrative experience, ideally within manufacturing or a similar environment

• Well organised, proactive and confident working independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Flexible and adaptable, happy to be hands-on when required

• Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided

• 14.5 hours per week - Working Monday and Wednesday (need to be flexible to cover holidays)
