Motor Vehicle Trainer (Full training provided)

Gravesend - 0.6 FTE - Permanent, 22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum

£21,517.20 to £26,472.60 per annum (dependent on quals and exp.) (£35,862 to £44,121 pro rata per annum full time equivalent)

+ circa 30 days holiday (pro rata from FTE 42 days + Bank Holidays) + Teacher's pension + Fully funded qualification in Teaching

They are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle to join their team in a position providing a balanced three day working week - ideal for someone seeking consistent and predictable hours while being able to stay connected to the trade!

In this days-based role, you will be responsible for teaching aspiring automotive engineers across subject areas such as fabrication and build, fault finding and diagnostics. This role allows the stability of a salaried position for 3 days per week, while keeping space for private jobs or a small side business, all whilst receiving full training to become a teacher.

This role would suit a qualified Vehicle Technician who wants to move away from workshop pressure and move into teaching 3 days per week, where you will receive full training, support, and excellent company benefits.

The Role:
* Teaching aspiring automotive engineers across subject areas such as fabrication and build, fault finding and diagnostics.
* Full training to become a teacher
* 22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (0.6 FTE)

The Person:
* Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle
* Industry experience as a mechanic or motor vehicle technician
* Looking to move into a Lecturing role - you don't need to have taught before
