The Role

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Health & Safety Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients – both on-site and remotely – to deliver tailored advice and practical support that makes a real difference.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working directly with clients to provide clear, practical H&S advice
• Carrying out risk assessments, site inspections, and accident/incident investigations
• Developing and reviewing policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
• Delivering training, toolbox talks, and coaching for staff and managers
• Supporting or chairing health & safety meetings and management reviews
• Undertaking internal audits and assisting during external assessments (including ISO 45001)
• Producing concise, actionable reports and recommendations that add real value

About You

You’ll be someone who is customer-focused, approachable, and able to turn complex requirements into simple, workable solutions.

Essential:

• NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
• At least two years’ experience in H&S consultancy and/or compliance
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience working across different industries
• Full driving licence and access to your own car
• Based in London or the Home Counties

Desirable:

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor qualification
• Experience supporting clients through audits or certifications
