About the Role:

  • Work closely with children and young people who require trauma-informed care and support.
  • Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet individual needs.

  • Resilience and Emotional Stability – Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
  • Empathy and Active Listening – Understand and respond to the emotional needs of children.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Work effectively with pupils, colleagues, and families.

  • Teamwork – Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Desirable Backgrounds:

  • Care, mental health, social work, youth work, or similar fields.
  • Trauma-informed practice experience (training provided if not).
